My vision for this space is to welcome you into a beautiful and relaxing and environment
where you will feel completely nurtured.
Can you picture the Eagles Hotel California album cover? This was what the view looked like from my childhood bedroom in Southern California.
I would sit on my bed and look west through tall skinny palm trees toward the orange glow of spectacular sunsets. It was a feeling of calm, comfort, and summertime warmth.
The moment I walked into this studio I felt the exact same warmth. Bathed in natural light, calming and amazingly familiar, it was love at first sight. My son Zeke placed his hand on my shoulder and said, “Welcome home Mama.”

Your session begins with refreshments and professional hair and makeup. You will then choose from the curated Little Palm wardrobe collection and a few of your own pieces as well
We will spend about an hour together, creating images that feel completely relaxed, artistic, creative, and stress-free. Your session can focus on just you or you can bring your spouse and other children as well.

The Little Palm Newborn

In 2002 when I gave birth to my son, newborn photography was the farthest thing from my mind. Like so many new moms, I was caught up in the moment to moment needs of my baby, not to mention that I was too exhausted to think about taking pictures.
We cozied up all winter and then one glorious morning at the beginning of spring I took him outside, placed him on a blanket and pulled out my camera. Something amazing happened in that moment. I saw his little fingers and toes in a new light. The folds of his arms. The way the sun was casting soft shadows on his sweet little face. These images still bring me to tears to this day.
I wished I had pulled out my camera sooner.

The Newborn Session Experience
When you arrive at Little Palm Studio you will be greeted with a warm hug, a hot cup of coffee or tea and a plate of delicious snacks.
You can relax in the lounge, or you can join me in the studio to watch as I capture your baby using natural light and soft wraps, focusing on their tiny details.

Next, your spouse, partner and other children will be photographed in a sweet and simple style that allows you to cozy up together.
Let's celebrate these moments
Your images will be revealed to you the following week, either in my studio or in the comfort of your home. This is when you will get to choose your artwork, from prints to wall art and heirloom albums.
After the session, we will meet in person either in my studio or at your home for the reveal of portraits. At this time you will get to decide how to use your images relying on my services to create precious family heirlooms.

your session fee includes:
- A planning consultation to style your session and discuss how you will use your images
- A one-hour photography session in the Little Palm Studio
- Includes professional hair and makeup (fee adjustment if you provide your own beauty services)
- Full access to the Little Palm Client Wardrobe Collection
- Gallery reveal in studio or in your home within one week
- Product purchases range from $1650 to $3550 depending on product selection after each session
